Two Ev Charging Points Installed At The Pensnett Estate
Two electric vehicle charging points have been installed at The Pensnett Estate, national commercial property and investment company LCP has announced.
The Instavolt rapid charging points are located near KFC in Stallings Lane, at the entrance to the flagship industrial and business estate in Kingswinford, after LCP agreed terms with the EV charging company.
Dave Charlton, Associate Director at LCP, said it forms part of its comprehensive programme to install a further 330 charging stations in 88 at its larger sites by October 2022.
"LCP is committed to playing its part in rolling out much-needed charging points for electric vehicles," he said. "Ensuring drivers have a safe and convenient place to charge their vehicle away from the home is vital and we're pleased to provide InstaVolt chargers at the Pensnett Estate."
The InstaVolt rapid 120kWh+ chargers are already activated and ware available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They have CHAdeMO and CCS2 connectors and any electric vehicle that is DC compliant can use them.
InstaVolt chargers cost £0.57 per kWh and there is no connection fee or monthly membership fee.
This year, InstaVolt was named the UK's best public charging network by Zap-Map for the fourth consecutive year and was awarded the EVIE Private Sector Infrastructure Strategy of the Year award for the second year in a row.
