Mayor Visits Brierley Hill Babybank

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Andrea Goddard, to Multipark Pensnett on Monday, September 18, who visited one of our tenants at the Innovation Centre.

She saw for herself the fantastic work that Brierley Hill Babybank is doing and also took the opportunity to launch the charity's soft play room.

The charity, which doubled its space at the Innovation Centre last year, supports hundreds of families every year, with a range of care packages that include prams, baby clothes, toiletries and other essential items to families, from 25 weeks' pregnancy up to when the child is two years old.

Maz Page, founder and project manager, said: "We don't usually allow behind-the-scenes access but so many people wanted to come and see what we did. We also launched our soft play and sensory room which will soon be available to use for families and services.

Brierley Hill Babybank works within the Dudley borough and also provides support to those living in DY1-DY10 postcodes and the B63, B64 and B65 areas. For more details, visit: brierleyhillbabybank.co.uk
