LCP Signs Up Fast-Food Outlet For Two Sites
National commercial property and investment company LCP has signed deals to bring a fast food outlet to two towns in Scotland.
The Flaming Chicken, which trades as Taste, has signed two ten-year deals for retails units in Cambuslang and Airdrie after agreeing terms with LCP on behalf of landlord Sheet Anchor Investments Ltd.
Taste, which sells a range of dishes, including fish and chips, peri-peri chicken, burgers and desserts to take away and eat in, will bring a new and fresh concept to the retail sites, said Dermit Smith, asset manager at LCP.
The independent retailer is to open at unit 1 at 14 Gartlea Road, Airdrie, on the popular Gartlea Retail Parade, opposite Morrisons superstore and just minutes from the town centre, and at unit 2 Cambuslang Gate, 43 Main Street, Cambuslang, a 42,000 sq ft mixed commercial and residential development on the principle retail pitch of Main Street.
"We're pleased to have concluded these deals on behalf of Sheet Anchor Investment Ltd and are looking forward to welcoming Taste to our retail sites," said Dermit. "As part of our commitment to intensive, proactive asset management we are keen to make sure our retail sites have a good range of providers for the local communities they serve."
