LCP Part Of M Core Strengthens Legal Team
With the department now well established, and represented in all of our UK offices, I'm very pleased to move into the role of General Counsel, and advise the business more broadly as it continues to grow its £2.4billion UK portfolio.
LCP part of M Core, is pleased to announce internal promotions within our in-house legal team.
Former Legal Director Amy James has been promoted to the role of General Counsel & Head of Legal (UK). This senior board-level position will see Amy continue to manage the UK based in-house legal team, while taking lead on developing company policy and position on the wider legal issues that affect the Group's business objectives.
In addition, Sophie Faulkner has been promoted to the role of Associate Legal Director. She will be tasked with developing portfolio wide initiatives that support the legal team and wider business, whilst retaining responsibility for all real estate transactions that arise from a defined portfolio of properties.
Amy James said: "LCP has gone from strength to strength since I joined the company in 2007, and I have been delighted to oversee the growth of the in-house legal offer from a team of two solicitors to a department of 15 in my previous role as Legal Director. With the department now well established, and represented in all of our UK offices, I'm very pleased to move into the role of General Counsel, and advise the business more broadly as it continues to grow its £2.4 billion UK portfolio."

LCP part of M Core, owns one of the largest, privately held commercial property portfolios in the UK. Major acquisitions include Princes Square, Scotland, Livingston, West Lothian and Cwmbran Centre, Cwmbran.
M Core has £300 million available to invest for assets ranging from £2 million to £250 million and portfolios up to £150 million and is actively seeking sites for acquisition.
