LCP Group Acquires Rawa Mazowiecka Retail Park, Poland
LCP Group has acquired its 67th retail centre in Poland, after buying the Rawa Mazowiecka Retail Park for an undisclosed sum.
The convenience centre in Rawa Mazowiecka, which is 80 kilometres south west of Warsaw, is anchored by tenants Kik, Dealz, Martes Sport, and CCC and comprises more than 2,700 sq m GLA. It also has 45 parking spaces.
Katarzyna Szele?nik, Acquisitions Director at LCP Properties, said the latest acquisition demonstrates LCP Group's bold approach to boosting its portfolio.
"The purchase of a retail park fits perfectly into our company's purchasing strategy. We are actively looking for the new commercial projects, as well as plots for retail and city logistics," she said.
Rawa Mazowiecka Retail Park was sold by Green Hill Investment, which is working with LCP on another project in the central Polish town.
"The sale of the facility in Rawa Mazowiecka is another success for us and confirmation that Green Hills Investment is going in the right, development-oriented direction," said Sebastian Sypniewski, Member of the Management Board Green Hills Investment.
"The projects we implement are popular both among tenants and entities interested in their purchase. The transaction in question in Rawa Mazowiecka is a continuation of the fruitful and long-term co-operation with LCP and allows for further attractive projects in the coming future."
Krystian Modrzejewski, Group Operations Director at LCP, said LCP wants to consolidate its position further as a leading investor in this type of projects on the Polish market.
"Its strategy emphasises long-term commitment to our local market," he said.
"Our plans are quite ambitious. We have 200 million euros to invest by the end of 2022, and we are willing to co-operate with developers and plot owners. We are open to various forms of co-operation: purchase of existing real estate, or joint implementation of projects, as well as land purchase investments. Our advantage is flexibility and fast transaction execution."
