The retailer, which has over 350 stores across the UK, currently has a 9,500 sq. ft store at The Centre, Livingston, which is one of the largest shopping centres in the country, with a wide range of over 150 places to shop and eat, and visited by over 15.8m visitors a year, and also is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
These include Flannels, H&M, Rituals, Hotel Chocolat, M&S and schuh, Las Iguanas, Nando’s, Wagamama, and Five Guys.
The original store opened in 2008 and due to increased customer demand, the company is upsizing and relocating closer to the main entrance, with an expected opening date in July and a celebratory launch with a host of competitions and a DJ to mark the opening. The current store will trade as normal until the new opening of their larger premises.
Since acquiring the shopping centre over two years ago, LCP UK, part of M Core, one of Europe’s leading, privately owned commercial property development and management companies, has welcomed various global brands. These include Starbucks, Wingstop, MINISO, Søstrene Grene, Flying Tiger and the first ArrowHeadz store in Scotland.
The countdown is also on for the expansion into the leisure sector with the opening of Hollywood Bowl later this year, featuring 22 lanes, an arcade and a bar and diner.
Simon Eatough, Director at LCP UK, part of M Core and Asset Manager to The Centre, Livingston said: “This is an exciting year for us as we look forward to brands like JD Sports upsizing and relocating and our move into leisure with the opening of Hollywood Bowl.
