The Works Opens At Bowen Square
Leading discount stationery and crafts retailer The Works has opened its new store in Bowen Square, Daventry, after agreeing a 10-year lease for 8 Regal Square, a 3126 sq ft two-storey unit.
Martin Wade, asset manager, said: Bowen Square remains a thriving shopping parade in the heart of Daventry, so it's great that we can welcome The Works, a strong national brand. With Merkur Slots also taking units 16 and 17 Bowen Square, it's good news for local people.
"
"We're also hoping to announce a significant arrival at the parade in the coming weeks, which we believe will be transformative for Bowen Square."
The 110,395 sq ft shopping parade is anchored by Waitrose and has 38 shops, including Boots, Greggs, Dominoes and Subway. It has an average footfall of about 87,000 a week. Bowen Square has more than 90 parking spaces, with a further 500 spaces adjacent, at a 45,000 sq ft Tesco.
