Springfield Estate Is A Winner
One of the largest suppliers of amusement machines to public houses around the UK has opened a new base in the Black Country.
Sceptre Leisure Solutions has taken a 4,075 sq ft unit at Oldbury's Springfield Estate, which is owned and managed by London and Cambridge Properties Ltd (LCP). It has relocated from a smaller, older building in Halesowen to larger, refurbished premises which will be used as a regional distribution depot.
Commercial director Tony Yates said: "Springfield is ideally located as it has great access to the motorway network which is key for our business.
"Here we have a central location with great motorway access in all directions. The unit has been refurbished and it is 1,500 sq ft bigger than we had previously so we have room to grow. We looked at various options but these premises ticked all the boxes, including the ample free parking which we required for our fairly large fleet of cars."
Sceptre Leisure Solutions is part of a £36 million turnover group and has its headquarters in Preston. Established in 1999, it employs 380 people and has 13 regional depots.
